Common questions
What's the difference between canopy and retractable up and over gear?
A canopy door pivots out partly past the frame as it opens. A retractable door runs back fully on horizontal tracks into the garage. We'll check your opening and tell you which suits it.
Can I still open an up and over door by hand?
Yes. Up and over doors are designed for manual use, so you can open it by hand, and if it's fitted with a motor there's a manual release for power cuts.
What happens if my old frame or timbers are rotten?
We check the frame and timbers before we quote. If they need replaced, we tell you on the day, and the old door, gear and timbers are taken away when we fit the new one.
